Travel Bug Workshop
The Girl Scouts of San Diego and Hostelling International San Diego team up to present the Travel Bug Workshop. With camping we all know to “Leave it better than you found it.” But what does that mean in your daily life or when traveling in other ways? Older girls and adults interested in pursuing more advanced travel will interact with experienced travelers and professionals in this interactive workshop to “discover the sustainable and resourceful you!” Workshop will included a separate session for adults with info on necessary paperwork and the Girl Scout destinations.
World Travel 101 for Girl Scouts
Planning a trip, or need help getting started? Hostelling International San Diego has created a special workshop just for Girl Scouts to help girls prepare to travel responsibly and safely. Topics include trip planning, packing, budgeting, safety, cultural awareness and more.
Discover the World: Girl Scouts Go Hostelling Patch
Hostelling International San Diego and Girl Scouts of America have created a special patch for your troop to earn during your hostel stay. We are here to help your troop complete the activities plus any other itinerary plans you would like to create, and at the end of your stay the scouts will have earned the hostelling patch!
